Jonah Turner - President Jonah's career in Information Technology (IT) has spanned over seventeen years and includes a strong portfolio of project successes featuring major complexity, broad scope, and wide impact. Jonah served in different specialist roles for the federal government in Washington D.C. before moving back to Wisconsin where he launched a successful startup company. He is currently working as a Manager of Technology and Innovation at Kohl's Corporation. Jonah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, and earned a Master's certificate in IT Project Management from The George Washington University. He lives in Ozaukee County with his wife and five kids. Jonah joined the FEC Board in 2016 and was elected President in April of 2019.

Ryan Hammetter - Secretary Ryan grew up between Grafton and Cedarburg. After graduating from UW-Madison with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he and his wife spent several years working throughout the country before moving back to Cedarburg to raise their two kids. Ryan has a diverse career in engineering, construction and project management. It includes design and installation of telescopes at the South Pole, assignments as lead engineer on utility megaprojects throughout Wisconsin, and leading cross-functional teams through projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Ryan currently works for We Energies and is active in the Ozaukee community. He enjoys volunteering for school and local events, serves on the City of Cedarburg Public Works Commission, and coaches North Shore United soccer and Cedarburg Little League. Ryan brings to the FEC dedication, motivation and skills in leadership, teamwork and communication. He joined the FEC Board in 2019.
Don Schoonenberg – Treasurer Don and his wife raised their family in Cedarburg and after a nine-year hiatus has returned to Ozaukee County with a move to Mequon. He has had a long financial and strategic executive career as the CFO and a Director of Simplicity in Port Washington and retiring as the Vice President of Business Planning at Briggs & Stratton. Don has involvement in a number of non-profit organizations and joined the FEC Board in 2019.
Tim Schoonenberg - General Counsel Tim is an attorney at Houseman & Feind LLP in Grafton Wisconsin. He practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Business Law, Real Estate and Municipal Law. Tim is a native of Cedarburg and is very active in the community. Tim joined the FEC board in April of 2013.
Krishna Chavali Krishna has been employed by Baird since 2011 and works in their Enterprise Initiatives team within PWM Operations Business unit. He has over 15 years of experience in the fields of Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Data Analysis, and Metrics. He is originally from India and moved to United States to pursue his Masters at West Virginia University in 2002. He lives in Port Washington in Ozaukee County with his wife and child. He has been with the Board since April 2013.
Katy Koenigs Katy is an experienced consultant and project manager to organizations driving cultural transformation and technology changes. She has spent the past 20 years working for several fortune 500 companies within the retail industry. Katy is currently the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Northwestern Mutual where she assists in evolving the culture and organization. Katy is very passionate about her career; however, her greatest accomplishment is her family. She is a wife and mother of two energetic boys. Katy is learning to operate on very little rest and plenty of patience :). She is honored to help the board by increasing community awareness through marketing and special events. Katy is excited to help support the community in which she lives and work with great people trying to make a difference at the FEC.
Pam Stark Pam joined what was Mequon-Thiensville Family Services Auxiliary 20 years ago. The agency grew, becoming what is now known as Ozaukee Family Services. The agency joined other agencies to share space and dreamed of one day having their own space to house all agencies together. This is the Family Enrichment Center today. Pam is currently the President of the Auxiliary of OFS and also sits on the Board. She is also a member of the Woman's Club of Wisconsin and volunteers her time to many agencies in the City of Milwaukee. Pam joined the FEC Board as an agency representative in 2011.
Tom Wachs Tom grew up in Mequon and graduated from Homestead High School. After college and moving around the country for work, Tom and his family returned to Mequon in 2014. Tom is a local television Meteorologist and got involved with the FEC by emceeing the FEC Gala in 2017. Tom attended both the University of Oklahoma and UW-Madison, with a degree in meteorology.

Laura Berg Laura has been in the Information Technology industry for over twenty years and is currently VP, COO at Walmart Labs. She has a B.S. and an M.B.A. from George Mason University and a Masters in Information Systems from the University of Colorado at Denver. She has a strong background in management and strategic planning. Laura, her husband and two children moved to Ozaukee County in 2006. Laura became an FEC board member in 2009 and served as President between 2011-2019.
Peder Berg For the past 20 plus years, Peder has been self-employed in the field of construction and home renovation. In 2006, he moved to Ozaukee County with his wife and two children and became active in several community organizations. He has always felt a special calling to reach out to others in need of help. Peder joined the FEC Board as Vice President in 2011 and served in this role for eight years.
Mark King Mark King is the Founder and Owner of Outward Focus, Inc. For the past two decades, he has come alongside businesses and organizations to help them focus on serving others first while living simple principles that achieve extraordinary results. In a most recent project, he helped a well established 55-year-old firm complete their best year ever and set the tone for even greater future success. Having seen the destructive power of fear and greed in the workplace, Mark gets up every day looking for more opportunities to fight for others in becoming their best. His family (which includes 4 grandkids) is everything! And he loves telling stories! (Ask him about the manager’s meeting in Cincinnati!)
Renie Rathke Renie became the Executive Director of the Family Enrichment Center of Ozaukee in September 2006. She has a bachelors of Science degree in Human Services and began working in family education in 1997. Renie and her husband moved to Wisconsin in 2000 and are raising five children. Renie worked as a Family Educator at the birth center in Mequon for 18 years. She is active in youth leadership at her church and also volunteers for disaster relief support. Renie resigned from the Executive Director role in April of 2019 and now serves as a consultant to the FEC.
