Laura Berg – President Laura has been in the Information Technology industry for over twenty years and is currently VP, COO at Walmart Labs. She has a B.S. and an M.B.A. from George Mason University and a Masters in Information Systems from the University of Colorado at Denver. She has a strong background in management and strategic planning. Laura, her husband and two children moved to Ozaukee County in 2006. Laura became an FEC board member in 2009 and was elected as President in 2011.

Peder Berg – Vice President For the past 20 plus years, Peder has been self-employed in the field of construction and home renovation. In 2006, he moved to Ozaukee County with his wife and two children and became active in several community organizations. He has always felt a special calling to reach out to others in need of help and in 2011 joined the FEC Board as Vice President.
“The FEC provides a very unique facility for many organizations to share physical space and equipment. This in turn allows the organizations to put more of their resources to work for the people they serve. I feel my background in construction will help the Board make good decisions in caring for the facility and grounds that make up the FEC.”
David Cook – Treasurer David is the Managing Director for Robert W. Baird & Co. Incorporated, an employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, asset management and private equity firm with client assets of nearly $84 billion. He has over twenty-five years of audit experience including the last twenty-two in Internal Audit. Previous to his time at Baird, David worked for Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor. He is a University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee graduate with both a B.A. in Accounting and a MBA. David is a certified public accountant and also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served for the past three years on the Milwaukee IIA Chapter Board. David, his wife and daughter moved to Cedarburg in 2009. He joined the board in his current role as Treasurer in January 2012.

Susan Haydock, Ph.D. For thirty years Susan has been involved in learning that spans from youth to adults and from schools and corporations to non-profits providing guidance for curriculum and instruction to include electronic methods of instruction. She is excited to have the opportunity to support the work of FEC, through her volunteering for the board.
“The FEC represents a new way of providing support to all members of the community in a consolidated site. A creative way of meeting the needs of Ozaukee County.”
Maureen Squire Maureen has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and business and non-profit management, including leadership positions in non-profit human services and higher education. Maureen brings her extensive knowledge of non-profit organizations and donor relations to provide consulting expertise in an array of disciplines including fund development, management, marketing, communications, strategic planning, research, and organizational assessment. In addition, Maureen serves as Executive Director of Interfaith Caregivers of Ozaukee County on a part-time basis.
Maureen previously was President and CEO of Gilda's Club Southeastern Wisconsin. She oversaw the agency's fund development, marketing and public relations, program management, outreach services, volunteer coordination and facility management. Under her leadership, Gilda's Club served more than 16,000 people in its first four years of operation. Maureen also led several national initiatives for the Gilda's Club network of 30 clubs. Her other non-profit experience includes senior leadership roles at Transitional Living Services, Aurora Family Service and the Wisconsin Foundation for Independent Colleges, where she played a leadership role in organizational transformation and fund development outcomes. Early in her career Maureen worked for three Fortune 500 companies in marketing and project management and was a Business and Management instructor at Alverno College. Maureen has a master's degree in business management, has completed graduate certification in non-profit management at Vanderbilt University and a mediation certification from Hamline University School of Law. She is an active volunteer in many community organizations including the Nicolet High School Foundation board, from which she received the 2008 President's Award for her exceptional contributions. Maureen joined the FEC Board as an agency representative in 2012.
“The FEC is an innovative concept, allowing a wide array of human service organizations to share resources and develop collaborative opportunities to serve Ozaukee County.” Pam Stark Pam joined what was Mequon-Thiensville Family Services Auxiliary 20 years ago. The agency grew, becoming what is now known as Ozaukee Family Services. The agency joined other agencies to share space and dreamed of one day having their own space to house all agencies together. This is the Family Enrichment Center today. Pam is currently the President of the Auxiliary of OFS and also sits on the Board. She is also a member of the Woman's Club of Wisconsin and volunteers her time to many agencies in the City of Milwaukee. Pam joined the FEC Board as an agency representative in 2011.
Jonah Turner Jonah's career in Information Technology (IT) has spanned over fifteen years and includes a strong portfolio of project successes featuring major complexity, broad scope, and wide impact. Jonah served in different specialist roles for the federal government in Washington D.C. before moving back to Wisconsin where he launched a successful startup company. He is currently working as a Strategy Manager of Digital Technology and Innovation at Kohl's Corporation. Jonah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, and earned a Master's certificate in IT Project Management from The George Washington University. He lives in Ozaukee County with his wife and five kids. Jonah joined the FEC Board in February of 2016.

Tom WachsTom grew up in Mequon and graduated from Homestead High School. After college and moving around the country for work, Tom and his family returned to Mequon in 2014. Tom is a local television Meteorologist and got involved with the FEC emceeing the FEC Gala in 2017. Tom attended both the University of Oklahoma and UW-Madison, with a degree in meteorology.

Renie Rathke – Executive Director Renie became the Executive Director of the Family Enrichment Center of Ozaukee in September 2006. She has a bachelors of Science degree in Human Services and began working in family education in 1997. Renie and her husband moved to Wisconsin in 2000 and are raising five children. Renie worked as a Family Educator at the birth center in Mequon for 18 years. She is active in youth leadership at her church and also volunteers for disaster relief support.
“I feel privileged to work with all the amazing agencies located at the Family Enrichment Center. Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, we have a beautiful place for nonprofit agencies to serve the needs of the community together. The FEC is a place for collaboration and good work for the community.”
